A complete martial arts system — Karate, Judo, Jiu Jitsu, Kenpo, and Boxing — forged into one powerful discipline. Serious training for serious students.

"The art that was born on the streets of Honolulu."
Kenpo was born in 1947 in the Palama Settlement of Honolulu, Hawaii — developed by five martial artists who wanted a system that actually worked in the streets. It blends the best of Karate, Judo, Jiu Jitsu, Kenpo, and Boxing into a single, cohesive art.
At Keene Kenpo in Keene, New Hampshire, we honor that lineage. Under Master Instructor Gavin Williams — who carries direct lineage through Grandmaster Benny Luna — every class reflects the original intent: to produce capable, confident, and disciplined martial artists.
We are not a belt factory. We are not a fitness class. We are a dojo — and we hold our students to a standard worthy of the art.

Our youngest students learn the foundations of Kenpo in a fun, structured environment. Focus is on coordination, listening skills, discipline, and respect — building the character that carries beyond the mat.

Teen classes bridge the gap between youth and adult training. Students develop real technique, mental toughness, and confidence during some of the most formative years of their lives.

The entry point for adult students. Fundamentals covers the core Kenpo curriculum — striking, grappling, joint locks, and footwork — in a structured, progressive environment built for all fitness levels.

For students who have earned their foundation. Advanced classes go deeper into the system — combinations, weapons defense, sparring, and the higher-level concepts that define serious Kenpo practitioners.

"Training at Keene Kenpo changed my life. The discipline I learned on the mat carries into everything I do. This isn't a gym — it's a community built on real values."
"My son started here at age 7. The instructors are demanding but fair — they push kids to be their best without breaking their spirit. He's a different kid in the best possible way."
"I've trained in three different martial arts. Kenpo is the most complete system I've encountered, and the instruction here is world-class. The lineage is real."
No commitment. No pressure. Come train with us and see what Kenpo is about. We welcome students of all backgrounds and experience levels.
